Evidence for the next decision
Compare the trial with the baseline. Leave with a pilot summary, usage instructions, known limits, and a recommendation to continue, adjust, or stop.
A pilot helps you decide whether a wider rollout is worthwhile. If the pilot warrants it, we can scope integration, rollout, team handover, and ongoing support as a separate engagement.

What does a Forward Deployed Engineer do?
A Forward Deployed Engineer works closely with a customer’s team to understand a business problem, design a solution, and help bring it into real use. Here, that approach starts with a focused pilot; any wider integration and rollout is agreed separately.
Can we start with an unclear technical problem?
Yes. We can begin by mapping the business goal, the systems involved, and the constraints. The first step is to agree on a problem worth solving and a scope we can evaluate, rather than assume a particular tool or implementation.
What is an AI workflow pilot?
It is a focused trial of one improvement to a recurring business task. We map how the task works today, agree on a baseline, test a change, and compare the result before deciding on a wider rollout.
Which business tasks can we explore?
Possible starting points include preparing recurring reports, drafting replies to common enquiries, or moving information between tools. We assess the actual process and information involved before choosing a task.
Do I need to know which AI tool to use?
No. Bring a task and examples of how you handle it today. We consider your existing tools and whether AI, simpler automation, or a process change is the most practical option.
How much does a pilot cost?
The fee depends on the agreed task and scope. We agree on the fee, timing, deliverables, and success criteria before work begins. Further implementation and ongoing support are scoped separately.
How will we know if it helped?
We choose a measure relevant to the task, such as time spent, rework, or response time. The pilot compares representative examples against the starting point and records limitations as well as improvements.
